This Level 1 Health, Care and Early years programme will give you a broad understanding of the industry and help you develop the knowledge and skills you need to work with children and vulnerable people. When youve built the confidence you need, you will get the opportunity to get some work experience and demonstrate your skills in a real-life setting.You will cover units, including making healthy snacks and advising others on healthy lifestyles when caring for people, communication skills, Equality and Inclusion Growth and development, Physical care routines for children, being organised and developing a personal progression plan. As part of the programme, you will also develop your English and maths skills to the level required to work in the industry.The Level 1 course will provide learners with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to progress onto their chosen L2 pathway either into L2 Health and Social Care, L2 T Level Foundation Programme in Health and L2 T Level Foundation programme in Childcare and Education
